The six (or more) spelling variations, depend on the country or time of emigration, because around 1918 the spelling of Huczko or Hucsko was in Slovakia changed, by official decree, to the spelling of

. The name is not known to be very common in any region, but it occurs mostly in Slovakia and in Poland. There are some occurences of the name in Hungary and possibly Ukraine. The probable origin of the name is in Slovakia, or in the border region between Slovakia and Poland. (The original pronounciation is something like "hooch-caw" or "hooch-koh".) The meaning of the word is not exact but the word (hoo-chee) means in the Slovak language the sound made by running water or waterfall. I guess it would be best translated into English as RUMBLE. So then the meaning of hooch-caw is best translated as: HE WHO RUMBLES.
